Designed with extensive input from Olympic medallist Bryan Steel, the Godfrey Bikewear RaceSuit is the ultimate garment for the racing cyclist.
Specially developed for the demands of road racing and criteriums, our RaceSuit uses ergonomic panelling to fit the contours of the body for a streamlined, anatomical fit. Together with high performance technical fabrics, this suit really is in a league of its own.
The vest and sleeves are constructed from GS-Chrono, a specialist Italian fabric used by top cycling athletes with a 20% Elastane content, to ensure a close, aerodynamic fit that hugs the contours of your body. It’s honeycomb texture creates a strong moisture management system, allowing the skin to breathe when you’re pushing hard, and dries quickly to ease moisture expansion and evaporation to keep the body fresher longer. The flexible fabric also adds support to working muscles during activity.
The shorts are made from a combination of our GS-Monic and GS-Nero materials. GS-Nero is produced here in the UK, and has the superior performance benefits of modern technology with an exceptionally soft handle combined with the durability and robustness of nylon. It's high elastane content gives an enhanced fit with four-way stretch to ensure it is fantastically aerodynamic and provides a snug compression fit, along with the breathability and comfort you'd expect from a top of the range bib short. GS-Monic is a high-performance Italian fabric with a 22% elastane content allowing superior strecth and recovery.
The RaceSuit is available with the option of a double-width rear pocket - perfect for mid-race nutrition.
