Developed and extensively tested by the Godfrey Bikewear Race Team in some of the most prestigious and demanding races on the UK calendar, new Elite bib shorts have been completely redesigned for a more tailored, high performance, and race ready fit and use a handful of brand new cutting edge Italian fabrics and a new chamois to ensure that they are lighter, more breathable and more aerodynamic than the standard range.

 

Weighing in at almost 30% lighter than our standard shorts, the new bibs use a super low profile silicone-backed elastic gripper constructed from our GS-AeroGrip fabric for a smoother, lower weight, seamless finish, and to create a more aerodynamic junction between the leg of the rider and the short. Combined with a specialist Italian fabric, GS-Thunder, used by some of the finest teams in the sport, the new bibs have hugely improved breathability while maintaining durability. Fewer panels means less seams for a closer fit, and flatlock stitching has been introduced for a more comfortable feel against the skin. Lastly, a brand new pad with multidensity high impact foam, combined with Airmesh technology and an antibacterial treatment cuts down weight, improves breathability, and increases comfort for hard, long, on the rivet efforts
